Elemental Damage
Elemental damage is one of the four primary damage stats in Brotato. The others being Melee Damage, Ranged Damage, and Engineering. Some weapons scale their damage on hit with the elemental damage stat. You can find a list Below.
Most of these weapons are of the Elemental Weapon Class
Elemental weapons are usually good at handling crowds of enemies, and the weapons often have special effects on hit, such as slowing, creating projectiles, or exploding.
Some elemental weapons also have the ability to set enemies on fire, inflicting the Burn debuff. Which deals damage each second and that damage scales with the elemental damage stat. Each 1 Elemetal damage increases the burn damage by +1 per second.
Negative elemental damage reduces the damage dealt by weapons and burn instead down to a minimum base damage of 1. Many builds don't use any weapons or burn that scale with elemental damage and can safely dump it into the negatives without any repercussions.
Items
Positive
These items increase your Elemental Damage.
Due to Item Tags, the Character(s) Mage, Technomage have a higher chance to find these items in the Shop.
