Crit Chance
Your weapons have an x% increased chance to deal a critical hit. The maximum chance is 100%, meaning every hit is a critical. If this is negative, the value is subtracted from your weapons base crit chance, to a minimum of 0% chance to critical hit.
Most weapons have a 3% base chance to deal a critical hit for 2 times the damage. Some weapons have a higher critical hit damage multiplier such as Knife or a special effect such as Thief Dagger. For these weapons focusing on getting more critical chance is often important. Some weapons like Fist deal less damage on a critical hit. For these weapons, critical chance is less effective and sometimes skipped entirely.

What can Crit?
- All hits from Weapons along with any projectiles spawned by those weapons.
- Projectiles from Items such as Alien Eyes and Baby with a Beard can also crit with a base 3% chance for 2 times damage.
- Explosions from weapons can crit, such as Rocket Launcher, but explosions from items such as Rip and Tear can't.
- Explosions from Characters such as Bull and Glutton can crit for 1.5 times damage.
- Structures can't crit.
- Burn can't crit.
- Randomly targeted damage from items such as Baby Elephant, Cyberball, or Riposte can't crit. Same with the ability from Lucky and Lich.
- Piercing and Bouncing attacks can crit individually on each Pierce/Bounce.
