Melee Damage
Your weapon attacks deal x additional damage (depending on your weapon's Melee Damage scaling).
There is no limit to this stat. If it is negative, your melee attacks deal -x less scaled damage, down to a minimum of 1 damage per hit.
Melee damage rounds down. So if you have 1 melee damage on your knife which has a scaling of 80%. The +0.80 damage is rounded down and there is no increase. However if you have -1 melee damage, the -0.80 is rounded down to -1.
All melee weapons scale with melee damage to some degree except the Spiky Shield which scales with armor. In addition, the Shuriken is a ranged weapon, but scales with melee damage.
