while not killing enemies is normally a big problem, since it means you don't get [[Materials]], it isn't a problem for the Pacifist. You get an amount of XP and Gold equal to 65% of the enemies on the screen, and also 65% of the enemies that were removed due the enemy limit. There is a limit to how many enemies can be on the screen, and if more spawn, old enemies are removed to make space.

Pacifist

The Pacifist starts with a large negative to Damage and Engineering, preventing them from dealing damage to enemies.

while not killing enemies is normally a big problem, since it means you don't get Materials, it isn't a problem for the Pacifist. You get an amount of XP and Gold equal to 65% of the enemies on the screen, and also 65% of the enemies that despawned due the enemy limit. There is a limit to how many enemies can be on the screen, and if more spawn, old enemies are removed to make space.

However, the Pacifist only gains 1 Material for each enemy, even though that enemy might have dropped several materials upon death.

It is worth noting that the Pacifist doesn't have to invest in offensive stats such as Damage, Melee Damage, Attack Speed, and Crit Chance in order to win the game, and can focus on their defense instead. So this makes up for their weaker economy.

Starting Weapons

Starting Items

Pacifist starts with 1 item that improves their materials collection and survivability.

Item Effect Notes
Trees die in one hit Makes getting consumable/materials from trees much faster.

Essential for Pacifist, as staying in one place for too long could get you swarmed by Enemies.
