Starting Weapons

Engineer always starts with 1 Wrench.png Wrench, in addition to the other Weapon you choose for them.

Uniquely, they have the option to start with a Tier 2 weapon, Hammer.png Hammer. This outclasses their other starting weapon's raw damage considerably, but its classes (Blunt and Heavy) will affect your Shop chance to find other weapons that scale with Engineering Stat.png Engineering.

If you only want more Tool weapons (ie. Wrench.png Wrench and Screwdriver.png Screwdriver), the best starting weapon is Wrench.png Wrench, which only has the Tool class.
