Baby with a Beard's projectiles can Crit, Lifesteal, pierce, bounce do "normal" attack things. It can also spread flames if you have Scared Sausage.
The item scales with Ranged damage and % Damage. Since the item has no base damage, Range damage is needed to make Baby with a Beard deal good damage.
