Item

Giant Belt is an in-game item that can be bought from a Shop or can be found in a Crate. Most Items modify the Stats of the player, and some of them provide additional effects.

Unique

Giant Belt is a unique item. Only 1 of each unique item can be equipped, and it will then no longer be offered in the Shop, and no longer drop from loot crates.

Giant Belt

Giant Belt deals Health Percent Damage whenever you deal a critical hit to an enemy. It deals 10% of Current Health of regular Enemies, and 1% of Elites or Bosses. This amount can be increased on a Cursed version of Giant Belt.

This means that if you attack an enemy with a critical hit that deals 50 damage, and the enemy has 1000 current HP, the belt will cause the attack to deal 150 damage (10% of 1000 + 50) damage to the target, or 60 damage (1% of 1000 + 50) if the target was an elite or boss.

The added damage cannot be modified. Not by your % Damage, not by Crit Multipliers. Not by Silver Bullet.png Silver Bullet, or Small Fish.png Small Fish.

Structures

When using the Pile of Books.png Pile of Books, you can make Structures Crit. This works with Giant Belt.

Endless Scaling

Giant Belt is coded to lose effectiveness when you get to the higher levels of Endless Mode. Starting at wave 39, the belt begins to deal less than 10% and 1% of current health. You can see the percentage of effectiveness for the Belt below:

Wave 1-38 39 40 45 50 60 75 100
Effectiveness 100% 94% 79% 38% 22% 9% 3% 1%
