Item
Hunting Trophy is an in-game item that can be bought from a Shop or can be found in a Crate. Most Items modify the Stats of the player, and some of them provide additional effects.
Hunting Trophy
Hunting Trophy gives you a chance to gain Materials when you kill an enemy by a critical hit. Similar to the Thief Dagger.
Unlike the Materials gained by Harvesting, Hunting Trophies don't give Experience. It only gives you the Currency Part of Materials.
Stacking
The stacking of Hunting Trophy was changed with the Patch 1.1.0.0 to being additively. That means you have 33% with 1 Hunting trophy, 66% with 2, and 99% with 3 Hunting Trophies to get 1 gold on a kill. This amounts to the same average as before the change. However with Cursed versions of Hunting Trophies, you can get above 100% chance. But you're now capped at 100% chance to get 1 gold.
For that reason, it might not be needed to try to get multiple cursed Hunting Trophies when playing Endless Mode, since there's no benefit to going above 100%.
Update History
- 1.1.0.0: Stacking method changed from independently to additive. Meaning that Hunting Trophies now just add their % to give Materials on Kill together for a max of 100%.
