Personally I do not like the mage I feel there are not enough elemental items and they are all fire based I remember when I unlocked mage he was my first red caracter and I thought that I would be able to cast spells and curse enemy's but I felt a little like the programers should give him a fire mask and call him pyromaniac then make another mage caracter that curses enemies that like...)

I'd say maybe a rare particle exelorator but it really depends on what class you are because if your someone like brawler then it is useless but someone like technomage or king it is a very solid weapon although if your king you would want to upgrade it to legendary to get some great buffs. My favorite class is actually king he really shines in long matches getting a full load out of legendary wepons giving him about +175% damage and speed.)
