==Starting Weapons==
Engineer always starts with 1 {{MiniIconbox|Wrench}}, in addition to the other [[Weapons|Weapon]] you choose for them.

Uniquely, they have the option to start with a {{Color|tier2|Tier 2}} weapon, {{MiniIconbox|Hammer}}. This outclasses their other starting weapon's raw damage considerably, but its [[Weapons#Weapon_Classes|classes]] ([[Blunt]] and [[Heavy]]) will affect your [[Shop#Weapons_&_Classes|Shop chance]] to find other weapons that scale with {{StatIcon|Engineering}} [[Engineering]].

If you only want more [[Tool]] weapons (ie. {{MiniIconbox|Wrench}} and {{MiniIconbox|Screwdriver}}), the best starting weapon is {{MiniIconbox|Wrench}}, which only has the [[Tool]] class.
